Shot - Warrior Taiaha - 90% Tungsten Darts (TP)

A Māori-inspired straight dart, now with Turbo Points

The Taiaha is named after the traditional Māori close-combat staff, a weapon passed down through families as taonga, or treasure. To honour it, Shot asked master carver Whare Thompson to design the sleeve pattern that's laser-etched along the barrel. This version is the Turbo Point (TP) update: the same 90% tungsten Taiaha barrel, now threaded for Shot's swappable point system.

Three grip zones and a soft bull nose

This is a straight barrel split into three separate grip zones, marked by wide open grooves so you can feel where each one starts. The front has two sections, so you can choose exactly where your front finger sits. The rings get wider from the centre back to the tail for extra traction at the rear. The whole barrel is finished in Shot's Cinder Grip coating, giving a 4/5 grip overall. At the front there's a soft bull nose. It's longer and gentler than a typical flat bull nose, with a slight taper, so it still feels comfortable against your finger while reducing deflections off darts already in the bed.

Turbo Points and the Warrior range

The darts come with 30mm black Turbo Steel Tip Dart Points fitted, compatible with Swiss, Switch, Quick and CP threads, so you can fine-tune point length without changing barrels.
