What Makes a Good Dartboard?

Every full-size board here is 451mm competition spec, made from densely-packed sisal fibres that self-heal as darts are removed. The differences worth paying for are in the wiring: modern razor-thin, staple-free spider systems (like Winmau's Blade series and Target's TOR) increase the usable scoring area and deflect darts into the bed rather than bouncing them out.

▶ How long does a bristle dartboard last?

With regular rotation, a quality sisal board lasts one to several years depending on use. Rotate the board every few weeks so the heavily-hit 20 segment moves around the board and wear spreads evenly.

▶ Which dartboard do the professionals use?

PDC televised events use the Winmau Blade series, while other tours and events use boards like the Target TOR and Unicorn Eclipse. All are available here in exactly the spec played on stage.
