Harrows Quick Points
Harrows Quick Points — the (QP) system's threaded replacement points in HM Grip and Micro Ridge finishes.
What QP means for your setup
Quick Points screw into QP-marked Harrows barrels — the system behind ranges like the Chizzy Series 4 and Heavy Metal — turning a point change from a workshop job into a between-legs job. Quick Points sit in the M2.5 threaded family alongside Target Swiss Point, Winmau Switch Point and Caliburn Evo EZ; Winmau and Red Dragon explicitly market their Switch Point barrels as compatible across those systems, so QP points aren't necessarily locked to Harrows barrels alone. Check what your barrel's manufacturer specifies before mixing.
HM Grip or Micro Ridge?
HM Grip carries the aggressive texture associated with the Heavy Metal range — maximum bite in the sisal for players who lose darts to bounce-outs. Micro Ridge is the subtler option: fine machined rings that add hold without the coarse feel under the fingertip, which matters if you grip forward onto the point.

Frequently Asked Questions
▶ Which darts take Quick Points?
Harrows barrels marked (QP), and — per Winmau and Red Dragon — their Switch Point barrels, which are marketed as accepting all major M2.5 point systems. They don't fit press-fit barrels, which have no thread.
▶ Do Quick Points loosen during play?
Threaded point systems are designed to lock in place under repeated impact. If a point does work loose, re-seat it firmly with the tool rather than playing on.
▶ Should I grip the point?
Plenty of players do — which is exactly why grip texture on points exists. If you rest a finger on the point, HM Grip gives you something to hold; if you don't, Micro Ridge or a smooth point keeps the feel clean.
