The cult classic with a fourth ring - back after 30 years

Some boards get discontinued; the Quadro 240 became a legend. Introduced by Harrows in 1992 with an audacious extra scoring ring between the treble and the outer bull - worth four times the segment - it even reached the professional stage at the 1993 World Matchplay before vanishing from sale in the mid-1990s. For three decades fans hunted second-hand examples and asked Harrows to bring it back. This is that return: the iconic quad-ring layout, rebuilt with modern board technology.

Quad 20 scores 80 - and 501 falls in seven darts

The maths is the fun: a quad 20 is 80 with a single dart, three of them make the namesake 240 maximum, and with quads live a 501 leg can theoretically be finished in seven darts - five quad 20s, treble 17, bullseye. Learning the quad out-shots is a genuinely new puzzle even for seasoned players, and when you fancy a normal night, simply ignore the fourth ring and it plays as a standard board.

A 1992 layout on a 2020s build

The reissue is no museum piece - ultra-thin hardened wire keeps bounce-outs modern-board rare, fast-healing SMART sisal technology closes the surface behind every pull, and the CLEAR SIGHT number ring finishes the face with crisp legibility.
