Warrior evolution

Awe is the feathered, tufted decoration on the collar of a taiaha — a weapon Māori have crafted over generations, signifying strength, power and influence. Shot commissioned master carver Whare Thompson to design this stunning interpretation: a tattoo sleeve wrapping the 90% tungsten barrel, finely laser-etched. Choose the Warrior, and unleash the power within.

Double-toothed teeth, cinder-fine traction

The torpedo shape suits players who grip at the front: a short nose with 0.5mm grooves leads into a double-toothed ring grip machined along the barrel, while a rear taper concentrates the balance forward. Wide smooth rings between each tail band soften the grip towards the back, and a cinder grip in the tribal design adds superfine traction throughout — a nuanced 3/5 with real variation along its length. Four weights: 7.0mm x 46mm (22g) up to 7.4mm x 48mm (26g).

The Warrior Kapene Captain carries the series' next chapter with its own Thompson-designed carvings — two warriors from the same New Zealand whakapapa.
