The Emma Paton Edit was developed with the PDC presenter around a single idea: make it easy to start. Most beginner sets are cheap brass with fiddly plastic stems; this one is 90% tungsten with a proper barrel and a setup that works straight out of the packet. It is aimed at newcomers, returners, and anyone who wants a genuinely good set of darts without a decision tree in front of them.

Fusion integrated flights - nothing to assemble

The flight and shaft are a single moulded piece. There is no stem to thread, no flight to push into a slot, nothing to split when a dart lands badly and nothing to lose in the bottom of a bag. It also keeps the flight angle identical on all three darts, which does more for a beginner's consistency than most people expect. Spares and alternative shapes are in our Fusion range.

Ring grip, full length, 3 out of 5

The barrel runs a full-length ring grip at a moderate 3/5 - enough texture to tell your fingers where they are, not so much that it drags on release. The profile is a slim straight barrel at 6.57mm across 50.8mm, centre balanced, in black with an orange band at the centre point. It is a forgiving specification: nothing about it fights a developing throw.

Where it sits in the range

At 23g this is squarely in the most-thrown weight band in the game, so it is a sensible first tungsten set and an easy one to stay with. If you want something with more grip as you progress, the Sniper Style 3 steps up the texture, and the rest of the range is in Winmau darts.
