Red Dragon - Jonny Clayton RD-Ultra - 90% Tungsten Darts (SP)

Red Dragon - Jonny Clayton RD-Ultra - 90% Tungsten Darts (SP)

The top of the Ferret's 2026 Red Dragon range

RD-Ultra is the flagship of Jonny Clayton's new four-tier collection, and it is built from the grips Jonny rated most across his recent darts. The 90% tungsten barrel takes the extra milled cuts from the Recon, a barrel he loved throwing, and pairs them with the milled micro grip he scored highest on the Hiraeth. Those cuts are machined on a longer cycle than standard, which is where the extra definition in the grip comes from.

Scalloped front grooves and a dragon-etched centre

New milling on the scalloped front grooves puts extra bite exactly where your fingers land at the point of release, so the hold feels locked in without dragging on the way out. The black barrel shows silver wherever the rings have been cut, with red accent rings either side of Jonny's dragon, which is laser-etched into the centre section. It comes in 22g, the weight Jonny throws, on a 50.8mm barrel at 6.55mm wide.

Two Switch Point sets and a full spare flight setup

This is the only tier in Jonny's range with two sets of Switch Points: his custom 37.5mm ChainPro points in both silver and black, plus the tool to swap them in seconds. It is also the only one that ships with two flight setups. The darts arrive on Jonny's match-day Nitro Flite Kite integrated flights, and a spare set of Jonny Clayton standard flights with Nitro Tech shafts sits in the box for when you want a conventional setup. Compared with the RD-Pro, you are paying for the extra grip machining, the second point set and the spare flights.
