Red Dragon - Jonny Clayton RD-Pro - 90% Tungsten Darts (SP)

Red Dragon - Jonny Clayton RD-Pro - 90% Tungsten Darts (SP)

Built on the grip that made the Hiraeth a favourite

RD-Pro is the tier built around the throw that took Jonny Clayton to the top of the sport. Red Dragon kept the dense, familiar feel of his recent tapered barrels and gave it the grip pattern that made the Hiraeth so popular: micro-milled grooves, fine micro grip ring cuts and a square groove working together. The result is a hold that stays secure under pressure and lets go the same way every time.

A tapered barrel in onyx and Welsh red

The 90% tungsten barrel narrows towards the point, which keeps the front end slim for tight groupings while the mass sits behind your fingers. It is finished in an onyx coating with red auto-spray accent rings. All three weights share the same 50.8mm length, and the diameter steps up with the weight: 6.6mm at 22g, 6.7mm at 23g and 6.85mm at 24g.

RD-Pro or RD-Ultra?

Both run Switch Points and both come on Jonny's Nitro Flite Kite flights, here in a red colourway. RD-Pro gives you one set of his custom 37.5mm silver ChainPro points, a wider choice of weights and a lower price. The RD-Ultra adds a second black point set, spare standard flights and shafts, and a longer machining cycle on the grip, but only comes in 22g. If you throw heavier than 22g, RD-Pro is the Jonny Clayton dart to buy.
