Flow through the grip, flow through the throw

Neptune is a compact 90% tungsten torpedo from Mission's R2.5 range, inspired by the movement and power of water. Jade detailing breaks through a black finish, and the whole barrel is built around one idea: a grip that feels like it flows. It comes in 21g, 23g and 25g, all 50mm long.

Wave cuts, spiral machining and radial grooves

Instead of one grip pattern, Neptune mixes three. Flowing wave cuts sit towards the front, a spiral-machined band runs through the middle and radial grooves finish the rear, so there is a clear reference point wherever you hold. None of them is harsh on its own, and Mission rates the grip 6/10, a 3/5 on our scale: noticeable purchase with a clean, controlled release.

Who it suits

Neptune is a good choice if you want a centre-weighted torpedo with plenty of texture but nothing that tears at your fingers. It is also the only dart in this release with three weights. For a 95% tungsten alternative, look at Mantis.

Ready to throw, easy to change

Every set comes ready to throw with Mission's Force 90 Vortex No.6 one-piece flights and shafts, plus two sets of R2.5 Rapid Points: 35mm silver SG2 points fitted and a 30mm black SG2 set as a spare. They screw into the 2.5mm thread and tighten with the R2.5 tool in the box. If you want something grippier at the board, GV1, RVX and DSX R2.5 points all fit.
