Description

Mission - BLUPRNT FORMD - 90% Tungsten Darts (RP)

A classic torpedo

FORMD is 005 in the BLUPRNT range, a torpedo-shaped 90% tungsten barrel built around a controlled, repeatable throw. The radius nose and fuller body put the weight forward, and the shorter 45mm barrel gives it a compact feel in the hand. It comes in 23g and 25g.

A smooth band to aim your fingers at

A short run of evenly spaced radial grooves sits at the front, then a smooth band just forward of centre, then a longer run of grooves to the rear. That smooth band is the point of the design: it gives you a clear marker, so your fingers land in the same place every time. Mission rates the grip 5/10, which we would put at a 3/5.

Where it sits in the range

FORMD is the fuller of the two forward-weighted BLUPRNT barrels. The SHAPD bullet is slimmer with a sharper shark-fin grip, and the SKTCH is the evenly balanced straight option.

What you get

The FORMD set is the three barrels, three 35mm silver MG1 R2.5 Rapid Points and the R2.5 tool. You choose the flights and shafts. Mission suggests its Force 90 Vortex No.2 one-piece flight for the range, and the R2.5 thread takes any of our GV1, GV2, RVX or DSX Rapid Points if you want a different length or grip.

Frequently Asked Questions

What comes with the BLUPRNT FORMD?

Three FORMD 90% tungsten barrels with 35mm silver MG1 R2.5 Rapid Points fitted and an R2.5 point tool. You add your own flights and shafts.

What weights does the BLUPRNT FORMD come in?

23g and 25g, at 7.1mm and 7.5mm wide on a 45mm barrel.

What is the smooth band on the FORMD for?

It sits just forward of centre and gives you a clear marker, so your fingers land in the same place every throw.

Can I change the points on BLUPRNT darts?

Yes. They use Mission R2.5 Rapid Points, which screw in and tighten with the R2.5 tool, so you can swap to other lengths or grips.
