The NX90 with the weight thrown forward

The NX90 has been one of the most successful darts Harrows have released in recent years, and the range has now been refitted with the Quick Point system. Three profiles share the grip sequence — tapered, parallel and bomb — and this is the bomb: short, wide and front-loaded, for players who want to feel the dart pull toward the board rather than sit level in the hand.

Short barrel, serious width

At 42mm the barrel is nearly a centimetre shorter than the parallel, and considerably fatter for it — 7.60mm at 21g, 7.80mm at 23g and 8.10mm at 25g. That combination puts the mass in front of your fingers and gives you a lot of barrel to hold onto in a small space, which is why the bomb shape tends to suit shorter grips and heavier throws. Every barrel is match weighed to ±0.05g.

Ringed, micro and scalloped cuts, and points you swap by hand

The grip is the one that made the original NX90 popular: ringed bands for a positive stop, micro cuts for feedback and scalloped sections for a clean release, at a moderate 3/5 along the full length. The Quick Point system does away with the repointing tool — the 26mm points supplied pull and push by hand, so length, colour or texture can change between throws. This is the full 13-piece set, so the premium Quick Point tool with integrated point storage is included, and HM Grip or Micro Ridge points will change the feel of the front end. Prefer a slimmer barrel? The NX90 Parallel QP is the same dart in a straight profile.
