Winmau - Pro Line 1.0 White Dartboard Surround

Winmau - Pro Line 1.0 White Dartboard Surround

The bright half of the Pro Line pair

White changes a dark room more than any other surround choice. It throws light back at the board, which makes a genuine difference in a garage, cellar or any corner where the lighting is honest at best, and it gives a crisp modern frame that suits a clean games room. Same one-piece Pro Line ring as the black, pulled over the board and held by the tightness of its own cut - no fixings, nothing drilled.

Twelve centimetres of professional protection

At 43.6cm inner and 67.5cm outer diameter it adds around 12cm of cover all the way round the board, catching the great majority of stray throws. It protects your darts as much as the wall: a point that stops in the surround keeps its edge, and near misses never take the floor strike that blunts tips and splits flights.

One honest caveat

A white face shows marks sooner than black - that is the trade-off for the brightness, and rotating it occasionally spreads the wear rather than letting it concentrate where your strays land. If your lighting is already good, the black version ages more gracefully; if it is not, white earns its keep. Either suits all dartboards, including the Blade 6.
