The Legend G10: Paul Lim's tenth-generation gentleman's dart

Ten generations is a milestone almost nobody in darts reaches, and Paul Lim marks it with the most restrained barrel of the series. The G10 draws on equestrian hardware — bridle fittings, circular buckles, the strap furniture around a horse's head — reinterpreted through precision milling into something that reads as dignified rather than loud. The packaging pays tribute to Red Rum, the Grand National great whose reputation for endurance and longevity makes an obvious parallel with a player still competing at the top decades in. Alongside the shark-cut Legend G9 and the G8, this is the most understated Legend yet.

Classic front-tapered profile with a divided 3D rectangular grip

The G10 sticks with the front-tapered shape that has defined Paul Lim's signature barrels — a profile known for control, and one that sits naturally in the hand so you find your rhythm quickly. The grip is deliberately split. The rear carries vertically arranged 3D rectangular cuts that rise like truncated pyramids rather than sitting flat, so each one presents multiple angled faces for the fingers to catch. The spacing was set by Lim himself: not so dense it turns sharp, not so open it goes vague. The front repeats the same rectangular language but packs it tighter and runs it horizontally, giving forward grippers a slightly softer touch with plenty of security still on offer.

Laser-engraved signature plate and PVD Silica finish

At the centre sits a precision-milled metal plate carrying Paul Lim's laser-engraved signature — a focal point visually, and a subtle polygonal transition zone between the two grip sections in use. The whole barrel is finished in PVD Silica, one of Target's most refined coatings: durable, composed, quietly metallic rather than flashy. It suits the concept exactly. Both weights run a full 50mm barrel, with 7.0mm on the 23g and 7.25mm on the 25g.

Swiss Point fitting, K-Flex flights and the new point guard

As a Swiss Point barrel, the G10 takes 30mm Swiss Points that thread flush into the nose and swap over in seconds with the supplied Swiss Point tool — useful if you want to trial a different point length without committing. Flights and shafts arrive as a single moulded black logo K-Flex No.2 unit at 26mm intermediate on a 2BA thread; our K-Flex explainer covers the fitting if it's unfamiliar. Paul Lim's own signature K-Flex No.2 and No.6 are stocked if you'd rather run the branded flight. New for this release is a multi-functional point guard with two holes in the back that turn it into a dart stand using a pair of soft tips, plus a Signature Series tin.
