Developed with Haruki Muramatsu — 2023 PDC Asian Championship winner and former Super Darts champion — the Rising Sun Generation 9 elevates his precision and vision with the newly released TYPE B, a futuristic robot-inspired design Muramatsu personally helped refine, stepping up to high-density 95% tungsten under a diamond-like carbon blue coating.

The No Groove revolution

The TYPE B's heart is the revolutionary No Groove concept: a smooth, groove-free rear section built specifically for rear-grip players, flowing into a streamlined, scalloped barrel whose sculpted curves anchor the hand while letting energy transfer cleanly from fingers to dart — grip through shape rather than texture, at a balanced 3/5. The specialist barrel measures 7.40mm x 45mm at 23g.

Nano-pointed, robot-flighted

Swiss Storm Nano Points (silver, 30mm) bring ultra-fine nano grooves for extra board grip and fewer bounce-outs, sitting flush with the barrel for a one-piece profile (exact spares stocked, tool spares here). Blue No.6 K-Flex intermediate 26mm flights and shafts carry the Rising Sun G9 print (spares). And for the design's radical predecessor, the Rising Sun G8 took smoothness to the absolute extreme — a grip level of just 1 — before the G9 added its sculpted curves back.
