Shot - Camo Polar - 90% Tungsten Darts (TP)

A front-loaded torpedo with an arctic camo finish

The Polar is the most affordable dart in Shot's new Camo range, and also the grippiest. It's a tapered torpedo in 90% tungsten, with the weight pushed forward so the dart pulls itself into the board and holds there. Unlike the Longshot and Ghillie, which use the DryTek ceramic coating, the Polar has a blasted arctic camo finish. It has a cool, dry-matte feel that adds texture to the barrel without dulling the cuts underneath.

Shark-tooth grip that tightens towards the nose

The grip was inspired by jagged glacial cliffs. It's an angular, shark-tooth pattern that gets tighter as it runs towards the front, so most of the bite sits under your front fingers, while the rear stays smoother for a clean release. Shot rate it 5/5, so it's a good choice if your darts tend to slip on release or you throw with a firm front-finger push. Each weight measures 50mm long and runs from 6.8mm wide at 23g to 7.0mm at 25g, which keeps it slim enough for tight groupings.

Turbo Points and the rest of the Camo range

The set comes with 30mm Shadow Black Turbo Points fitted on Shot's threaded Turbo Point system. You can swap them for Turbo RS Points for more board hold, or for plain Turbo Steel Tip Dart Points in black or gold. If you'd prefer the DryTek ceramic coating, the Camo Ghillie and 95% Camo Longshot both use it.
