The Furnace is the dart that launches TCT — Tungsten Core Technology — Red Dragon's next-generation multi-layer construction, and it rethinks what an accessible performance dart can be. Instead of a single-alloy barrel, a pro-grade 90% tungsten core runs through the centre of the dart and forms the entire nose, wrapped in a precision-machined steel outer shell. The dense core does the performance work — structure, balance and weight placement — while the steel skin gives your fingers a slightly fuller, more assured barrel to hold. Two materials, each doing the job it does best.

TCT construction: tungsten where it counts, steel where you grip

Because the 90% tungsten core extends right through the nose, dense mass sits through the centre and front of the dart, creating a balanced, subtly front-biased feel that promotes stable flight and a repeatable trajectory. The steel shell around it is machined with alternating rounded and square groove rings — fired through with red, orange and yellow ember colouring — running the full length of the compact parallel barrel at an easy-going 3/5 grip. At 7.6mm across, both weights are deliberately a touch fuller in the hand than an all-tungsten dart of the same weight, giving developing players genuine presence and control without adding a single gram of playing weight. Steel fixed points finish the package up front.
