A tribute to the worst aim in the galaxy

Stormtroopers are famously incapable of hitting anything, which makes them the ideal mascot for a game where most of us spend the evening two beds away from where we were looking. The lid carries officially licensed Original Stormtrooper artwork — a trooper, a targeting reticle and AIM THROW MISS REPEAT stacked in white and blue over black. It is the sort of case that gets a laugh out of the away team before you have thrown a dart.

Two sets, flights left on

Inside, one half is a foam block cut with slots for six fully assembled darts — two sets, points, stems and flights all still attached, so nothing gets stripped down and rebuilt at the oche. The foam holds them apart so flights are not crushed against each other in a bag.

Somewhere for everything else

The opposite half carries a row of elasticated loops for spare stems, flights and points, plus a zipped mesh pocket for the small things that otherwise live loose in a pocket — a sharpening stone, a point protector, a spare set of flights. The whole thing opens flat like a clamshell on a full-length zip.

Tough EVA, officially licensed

The shell is moulded EVA: rigid enough to take a knock in a holdall without the lid pressing down onto your flights, and light enough that you forget it is in there. This is the W4 design in the Original Stormtrooper case range — the Pew Pew and Original Logo cases are the same body with different artwork, and the rest of our storage is in dart cases.
