Winmau - Green Zone Blade Dual Core Dartboard

Winmau - Green Zone Blade Dual Core Dartboard

The board that opened darts to everyone

The Green Zone began with one man's simple wish - Steve Brown wanting his son to play fun darts with his friends - and grew into the Junior Darts Corporation's worldwide pathway for young players. Winmau developed this board exclusively with the JDC to make that pathway physical: an easy-to-use handicap system that lets players of any age or ability share a real game, on what might be the most fun, inclusive dartboard in the world.

Green zones level the match

Enlarged green scoring areas sit around the key targets - newer and younger players score in the generous green zones while stronger players hold themselves to the standard areas, so a parent and a child, or a county player and a first-timer, can genuinely compete. Confidence builds where frustration used to live, which is exactly how the next generation falls in love with the game.

Class-leading Dual Core construction

The build is pure Winmau: Blade Dual Core technology with lower compression at the outer core for clean point penetration - fewer lost darts, higher scores - and higher compression at the inner core absorbing kinetic energy for durability, under a pure sisal surface kept uncluttered for perfect vision. Its successor as the JDC's official training board, the Equalizer, extends the idea with dual-level 101-1001 handicap gameplay.
