Winmau - Leonard Gates - 90% Tungsten Darts

Winmau - Leonard Gates - 90% Tungsten Darts

The Soldier marches on Winmau

Leonard 'The Soldier' Gates is one of North America's premier talents — a US Army veteran turned darting showman who's become a dominant force in the American game — and his Winmau Player Edition is built in close collaboration to his exact preferences.

Milled grooves, military discipline

The parallel 90% tungsten barrel carries Leonard's preferred grip configuration: full-length milled grooves at a committed 4/5, creating natural finger placement points that lock in throw-to-throw consistency. Every barrel is rigorously quality-tested for perfect weight distribution, with a finish that gives the same tactile response whatever the conditions. Three published weights share a 50.8mm platform — 6.80mm at 22g, 7.10mm at 24g and 7.40mm at 26g — with the rounded nose keeping the release clean.

Star-spangled scoring

For players who appreciate equipment with international flair and genuine performance credentials, the Gates Player Edition delivers Winmau's professional-grade precision with unmistakable American character — complete with Winmau flights and shafts from the box.
