Target Japan's flagship point, and the one they fit to their own most expensive sets. Four finishes, three lengths, three points a pack.

The profile is an evolution of Target's Storm point: it sits flush where the barrel ends, so there is no lip for a flight to catch on and no step to nudge the dart off line. The front section is multi-contoured for players who grip well forward, and the rear carries three finely milled shark cuts that tell your fingers where they are without you having to look down.

What you are paying for over a standard Swiss Point is the metal and the coating: premium stainless steel, vacuum hardened, then coated rather than plated - so the finish survives a great deal more board time before it starts to look tired. The thread is R2.5, the same as the rest of our Swiss Point range, so these drop straight into any R2.5 barrel. The tapered thread and locking groove keep the point seated through a session, and swapping one takes seconds with the Swiss Point tool (sold separately).

• Blue - a DLC coating of the kind normally kept for top-end barrels, with a shifting blue-green tone
