Goldfinger goes robotic

Singapore's Harith Lim carries one of darts' great nicknames — 'Goldfinger' — and the third-generation Hot Shot turns it into a design language: a barrel modelled on a robotic finger, its segmented sections engineered to translate touch into precise, repeatable throws, finished in premium PVD gold against exposed silver tungsten so the mechanical structure catches the light.

Anatomy of a mechanical finger

Deep, carefully spaced ring cuts run from rear to mid for a settled, comfortable hold; a decorative centre ring plays the part of a mechanical joint — a tactile landmark as much as a visual one — and up front, densely packed fine rings meet a finger-shaped milled contour for sharp feedback and touch sensitivity at release. The whole package sits at a committed 4/5, with front weighting driving fast, direct board entry: 7.40mm wide at both 23g (47mm) and 25g (51mm).
