Shot - Roman Empire Steel Tip Points
Superfine cinder grip, engraved not printed
The Roman Empire point carries a superfine cinder grip precision-engraved into the surface at Shot's own factory in New Zealand. It is cut into the steel rather than applied to it, so it will not wear off the way a coating does - and it gives your fingers something to hold if you grip right forward over the nose of the barrel.
Goes in clean, comes out clean
The profile is shaped to penetrate the sisal properly rather than push the fibres apart, which keeps the dart where you threw it and takes some of the punishment off the board. Shot test every point in the range for a smooth release - the aim is fewer bounce-outs off a busy treble bed.
Three lengths to shift the balance
32mm keeps the weight back in the barrel, 45mm pushes it forward and bites deeper into the board, and 38mm sits between the two. It is the cheapest way to change how a set you already own feels. The matching Roman Empire Caesar and Legion darts complete the range.
