Description

Shot - Celt Cernunnos - 90% Tungsten Darts

Celt Cernunnos: your untamed nature

Wield your spear and flaunt your antlers. The Cernunnos captures the wisdom of the forest guardian — the mystical Celtic god of beasts and wild, mist-shrouded landscapes — in a barrel carved with a Celtic Cross and bark-like textures, coated in deep green and gold. Like every Shot dart, it's 100% designed, machined and colour-plated at their own factory in New Zealand.

Front-weighted 90% tungsten with the Briar grip

The 90% tungsten barrel tapers rapidly at the nose to concentrate the mass forward for a driving, front-weighted release. Square grooves sit on that tapered nose, followed by the Rebellion grip milled across the barrel's high point — and then the signature Briar grip, which Shot describe as feeling like a scallop without being one: push as hard as you like, this barrel won't slip. Patterned square grooves finish the rear for wandering fingers, making this a firm 4/5 grip from nose to tail.

The mythology range from Shot's NZ factory

The Cernunnos is the Celtic chapter in Shot's mythology-inspired ranges. Its front-weighted stablemate is the Birds of Prey Falcon — sleeker, less ornate, same driving feel — while the Viking Drakkar flips the balance to the rear for back-of-barrel grippers. Three genuinely different throws from the same factory.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's included with the Shot Celt Cernunnos?

The set contains three Celt Cernunnos 90% tungsten barrels with black high tensile points, three Celt range flights, and three dart shafts.

What are the Briar and Rebellion grips?

They're Shot's named grip zones on the Cernunnos: square grooves on the tapered nose, the Rebellion grip milled across the barrel's high point, and the Briar grip at the rear - carved like oak bark, it feels like a scallop without being one. Overall it rates 4 out of 5.

What is the Celt range about?

Shot's Celt series celebrates Celtic mythology - Cernunnos is the horned god of beasts and wild places, styled here in green and gold over a Celtic Cross engraving. Made in New Zealand like all Shot darts.

What weights does the Cernunnos come in?

Four weights: 22g (7.6mm x 46mm), 23g (7.7mm x 47mm), 24g (7.7mm x 49mm) and 25g (7.8mm x 50mm) - a front-weighted torpedo that tapers rapidly for a point-first release.
