The darts are 85% tungsten rather than brass, which matters more than the percentage suggests: a tungsten barrel is narrower for its weight, so three darts fit in the treble bed in a way brass ones never will. Starting on brass and upgrading later means relearning the feel - this skips that.

Light weights for a new throw

Both options sit at the lighter end, which generally suits someone still finding a repeatable action. A gram makes less difference than the numbers suggest; if you are unsure, 21g. A throw line or mat is the natural next purchase, and nothing here needs changing to add one.
