Red is the colour darts has always used - it echoes the doubles and trebles it frames, and it warms a games room the way a classic pub oche does. This is Red Dragon's plain red surround: no artwork, no logo across the face, just a hard-wearing ring that makes the board look deliberately set up rather than simply hung on a wall.

Roughly twelve centimetres of cover

At 43.6cm inner diameter and 67.5cm outer, it puts close to 12cm of dense polymer between your worst throw and the plaster - enough for the great majority of strays. It protects more than the wall, too: points that meet polymer stay sharp where points that meet brick do not, and darts that would have dropped to a hard floor are caught instead. Red also has a practical advantage over pale finishes, since it hides the marks of a long playing life rather than showing every one.

Fits the board you already own

It sits against the board with no fixings required, so nothing is drilled and it lifts away in seconds when you rotate. The plain range continues in black, blue and white, with designed versions including the Dragon artwork, the Logo print and Peter Wright's Double World Champion edition.
