Makara M2: three grips, one barrel

The Makara M2 packs an unusual amount of machining into one barrel: shark cuts, stepped radial grooves and horizontal milling all feature along its length, with tapered front and rear portions drawing the profile in towards the point and shaft. The result is an aggressive 4/5 hold with genuinely different textures depending on where your fingers land.

Graphite PVD, precision re-machined

During production the barrel takes a graphite PVD coating before Mission's precision re-machining exposes the raw tungsten beneath — the brand's signature sharp contrast, here in a moody graphite-on-silver rather than the usual black. The Mission logo laser-etched into the rear completes a barrel Mission rightly calls simply stunning. Dimensions run 49mm throughout: 7.2mm at 21g, 7.5mm at 23g and 7.7mm at 25g.
