Datadart - Obsidian 1 Straight - 90% Tungsten Darts

Obsidian 1: volcanic black, twice machined

Named after volcanic glass, the Obsidian wears a black PVD coating over 90% tungsten — and its distinctive grip comes from an unusual two-stage process. Radial grooves are first cut along the full length of the barrel, then the whole surface is re-machined over the top, breaking the grooves into a textured pattern you won't find on a single-pass barrel. DataDart built the Obsidian in the much-requested slim, slightly tapered style, finished with a smooth radius nose.

A slim 50.5mm barrel with balanced grip

The barrel holds a constant 50.5mm across all three weights, staying genuinely slim from 6.20mm at 22g to 6.70mm at 26g — tight-grouping territory — with the re-machined texture delivering an even medium (3/5) hold wherever your fingers land. The weight sits through the centre, and the black DataDart signature stems with black Hex flights keep the stealth look running nose to tail.
