Flights take the most punishment early on, when darts clash and drop, so having plenty means a bent one never ends the session.

Not a board you will outgrow quickly

The Diamond Plus is a proper bristle board rather than a starter toy, so it absorbs a lot of darts before it needs replacing - most players upgrade their darts long before the board. The surround keeps early strays off the wall, and the oche line marks the official distance on any floor, which is the detail people most often improvise with tape and get slightly wrong.
